From weight-accurate cutting to the precise loading and packaging of sausage, meat and cheese: Weber Maschinenbau is one of the leading system providers for cold cuts applications and is one of the most important addresses for the food processing industry. The portfolio is diverse and offers the perfect solution for all requirements and areas of application. Weber has been setting new standards with innovative strength and know-how since 1981 - with high-performance and efficient solutions that are characterized by precise results with high product yield and minimal give-away. The company has its origins in the manufacture of derinding and membrane skinning machines, so-called skinners, which are still an integral part of the product portfolio. Customers all over the world can fall back on a wide range of machines as well as line and automation solutions from the full-service provider - for every performance class in trade or industry. In 2011 the subsidiary Textor Maschinenbau was founded in Wolfertschwenden (Allgäu). "Smart & Easy" are the slicers and line components that Textor produces and which above all cover the requirements of more compact performance classes. Textor solutions are characterized by clever ideas, open construction and easy cleaning. Weber has held a majority stake in Wente / Thiedig GmbH since 2015. The Braunschweig company develops camera and image processing systems that are used, for example, in the optical scales and scanners of the slicers. The acquisition of a share in the long-term development partner strengthens the potential for further innovations in the field of scan technology. Thanks to the merger with a well-known packaging machine manufacturer, thermoformers have been adding to the Weber Group's portfolio since 2017. Weber is now in a position to offer integrated and highly automated system solutions, from cutting to packing sliced products, from a single source. Weber is constantly pushing ahead with its international presence for even greater customer proximity, quick availability and personal service. Today around 1.400 employees at 25 locations in 21 nations are employed by Weber Maschinenbau and contribute to the success of the Weber Group with commitment and passion every day. The company is still family-owned to this day and is managed as CEO by Tobias Weber, the eldest son of the company's founder, Günther Weber.
