Disinfection - without the use of chemicals - using UV-C technology. Microorganisms such as germs, bacteria, fungi and viruses contained in the air can trigger diseases in humans and lead to premature spoilage in food production due to the contamination of raw materials and fresh food. BÄRO is a specialist in air and surface disinfection on a UV-C basis. The effect of UV-C radiation is used here, which allows microorganisms to be killed off up to 99%. This takes place in secure, encapsulated disinfection systems that are integrated into the ventilation and air conditioning systems of buildings and food production facilities. Studies show that diseases such as respiratory diseases, mucosal complaints and muscle pain can be significantly reduced due to sterilized air. The main advantages of UV-C disinfection for food production are significantly improved industrial hygiene as well as the quality retention and longer shelf life of the products. Odor removal and fat destruction - without the use of chemicals For hotels, restaurants and canteen kitchens, exhaust air odors and fat deposits in exhaust air systems are a constant problem. Kitchen exhaust air smells can cause annoyance for residents in residential and mixed areas and thus violate the strict provisions of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). This can result in severe fines or even company closures. Fat deposits in suction hoods and kitchen exhaust ducts lead to a greatly increased risk of fire and require extensive chemical cleaning. BÄRO offers innovative solutions for both problem areas. Plasma technology from BÄRO removes odors from the kitchen using a photolytic oxidation and decomposition process. This makes environmentally harmful chemical cleaning as well as time-consuming and costly exhaust air pipe revisions superfluous. The BÄRO KitTech UV-C ozone cleaning system burns the fatty substances contained in the exhaust air by means of photolytic oxidation. This avoids the risk of fire, filter replacement and cleaning of the system are no longer necessary.
