1. Thuringian master school of butchery

The first Thuringian Master School of butcher crafting was created by 1993 under the joint sponsorship of the time-honored state Guild of the butcher trade Thuringia eV and the Chamber of Trade South Thuringia. Since then, this proven partnership has guaranteed you a high level of education.

Our state-of-the-art butcher's workshop for practical training is supplemented by a new theory building, which houses specialist cabinets equipped with all new communication systems for theoretical instruction.

The course participants can stay in the boarding school or in a nearby hotel during the course. For the catering of our participants there is a well-equipped cafeteria with an extensive and reasonably priced assortment. Leisure facilities include club and television rooms in the boarding school, an electronically equipped bowling alley on the ground floor of the former monastery church and a "craft parlor" to choose from.

Due to the connection to the Thuringian Forest highways A71 and A73 via the Meiningen / Nord exit, our school is easily accessible by road. Also by train and bus arrival is possible. Railway station tube and bus stop are located within walking distance from the BTZ.
